Just for fun scraplift challenge #digiscrap

bellevie
I saw this layout of Anne-Marie's and it really caught my eye.  I think she did a scraplift of somebody else and now she is inspiring us.  Isn't that the way the digiworld goes round?

So this is just a random "just for fun" scraplift challenge!  If you scraplift this, upload your image to Flickr and add it to the linky at the top of the page.

Thanks! Yes, I lifted my page from http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/ideas/showphoto.php?photo=158987&title=jack&cat=500

This was a lot of fun!

Love this so much. Could you give a little tutorial on how you did the letters, AnneMarie?

Yes Anne Marie, I love it but no idea how to start the letters. I have my photo masked that I want to use but am having problems figuring out the text part. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe Hummie can refer us to one of her tutorials that will help.

Hi! To make this page, you have to extract the main subject and put it above. Type your text, simplify it. Select each letter, make your photo the active layer, then Ctr J to copy the letter shape in a new layer, add a color filter... here are my quick tips for you. Have fun!

Thanks Anne Marie. I figured out the text but I'm not going to extract photo because I kinda like it the way it is.

Thanks, Anne Marie :) Another question - what is the url of your personal blog? I saw another layout you did at Christmas that used a template that you made and read that it was available on your blog.

Thanks Hummie for answering to Lois's question.
Lois, I give a lot of my templates on my blog, you can grab them for 30 days, but if you want one the link is broken, just leave me a comment and I will reactivate it.
