Happy Monday all!

I was going to wake up and create something new, either a new UseIt or a new template was on my mind. But I overslept! I guess I needed it.

Did you have a good weekend?

We got some stuff done. Saturday we put up the shutter partition behind the patio couch and just love it. I started painting the $20 table I found and hope it works for the patio. I also sewed new kitchen and bathroom curtains and kitchen table cloth.

Sunday we finally finished what we wanted to paint at our son's house and then had dinner with him. The ceiling over the basement stairs was a real challenge.

The weather was nice in between rain.

Ready for what the week will bring! It should be regular week. Work at day job and then cleaning job Monday and Wednesday night, small group Tuesday night at my house, free on Thursday and Friday. Although I may try to squeeze in mulching flower beds at my son's house, I hope to have time to get some things done for around here in the morning and evening. (if I don't sleep in which is rare!)

How about you?

It's a sunny Monday here in France. My DD is gone away to Spain yesterday, she is right
now at the beach and eat an ice-cream. How lucky she is!

Have a great day, everyone!
AMarie T said…
Oh my... she eats an ice-cream. (Sorry, forgot the 'S' !)
Hummie B said…
Wow! Spain! That is really far from France. Ah! I google mapped it! I guess I need to learn geography better. It could be a ten hour drive or so.

Did she go with some other people for a reason?

I forgot to mention that our living room window broke out Saturday. That was a pain to clean up the glass.

I had hubby vacuuming the grass! How funny.

I'm not anxious to try to get estimates to fix it. The wood is rotted out too. We don't have money for this and I do not want to take the time either.

I am thankful, however, that the Spring weather allows for an open window and that the screen still fits on the window so the bugs do not get in.

It's sixteen hours drive with a bus. She's gone with her highschool Spanish class.

Happy Monday.
Sunshine and blue sky.
Homeschooling and laundry.
Hummie B said…
Tammy, laundry should be a 4 letter word!

I have 137 ID's left in the forum. So close now to deleting forum files.

Happy Tuesday all!

How did yesterday go for you?

I worked, closed the forum, deleted the forum, got 3 bags of mulch and some weeding done at my son's house, did my cleaning job, and then worked on syncing site files.

I'm excited to finally be able to click "sync" in Dreamweaver and have the site automatically back up. I put it all on my EHD too so that it does not take up room on my laptop. It took a while because first I had to download a lot of the files, especially the zip file downloads around the guides.

Then I tried to sync it, but had difficulties because it kept syncing my genealogy site. I kept adding it and removing it from the Dreamweaver and I finally figured out I could work on both sites under one managed site log in. That is awesome! More "less" work! So I went to sleep while waiting for the final sync to get done.

I watched tv too. I forget the name of the show. Something about lies. I am enjoying it.

What tv are you watching?

This morning I got up early and created a UseIt! Yeah! and a layout Yeah!

So ready to begin moving forward!
Hummie B said…
Oh, to explain more, I could never sync before because the gallery and forum files were too large to be putting back onto my computer and to try to sync. It would have froze everything up!
Hummie B said…
I was just thinking about how long it has been since I've been to DST (Digishop Talk). Isn't that sad? It used to be the place to stalk.
Tammy said…
You're accomplishing a lot, Hummie!!! Good for you!!! :)

Jody Taylor said…
Its getting cool here, down to 11c this morning. I need to go north.
Hummie B said…
Jody, I had to convert that. It says 51.8 F -- It sounds like Fall weather for you.

Right now it says 54 here! Almost the same. But we have a broken window so the house feels SO cold. I'm freezing and cannot get enough of these covers.

Tammy, thanks!

I feel free now to do new things. My mind as lots of things I want to do.

I did do a new Themed Thursday last night, going up today. I had to create all the pages and the navigation tabs last night which is time consuming, but it is the beginning of a new set. I worked and finished getting all the layouts up for Set 1 last night.

Had a nice small group at the house last night, so the above was done after small group.

Today is Administrative Professionals Day, so the office is bringing in food for us. I have to clean tonight.

Welcome to Thursday everyone. It's overcast & wet in New Zealand. I'm visiting my friends whose daughter got married on Saterday. Tomorrow I'm going to Auckland to visit my coisin for the long weekend, then home on Monday.
Hummie B said…
Funny Maggie that you are into Thursday when I am just getting off of work on Wednesday.

I hope you have a safe trip and get a lot of photos to scrap.

Wow Hummie. You sure are a busy person. I have so many things that need to be done but I never seem to have the energy to get even half of it done. So sorry to hear of your window breaking but it is good that the very cold weather is over.

It's now baseball season and we've been attending games and practices with my grandson. So far his team is 2 wins and 1 loss.

I would love someday to travel but it seems so very scary these days that I am very content to stay at home. We are driving to Myrtle Beach near the end of summer for vacation this year.

Has anyone ever attended a CKC scrapping convention? Some of the ladies from Splitcoaststampers attend the one in Lancaster, PA every year and this year I'm finally able to go and meet them and take some classes with them. It'll be fun to "meet" these ladies that I've been chatting with online for a few years now. I hope to be able to share some of the "Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish" sites in this area. with them also if we get the chance. I might even actually get to get a few scrapbook pages done for once!

Aunt Jeannette passed away Tuesday evening. She was my great-Aunt and had just turned 96 on March 31st.

I've had enough. That is 6 family passings in 5 1/2 months.

Some people have told me "you're going to run out of family soon."

Terry, what a pleasant surprise to see you here posting. Good to catch up. I've never attended a CKC scrapping convention.

Myrtle Beach sounds like a fun trip to me. Take photos to scrap and share!

There was a frost advisory from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. here. It was 39 outside when I woke up and 63 in the house. I don't want to get out from under the covers.

I added images to Course 2, Lesson 2 -- I think there were 118! I miss the good 'ol days when I put out a tutorial and lots of people did it within a few days.
Tammy said…
Wow, there are some gorgeous layouts in that lesson, Hummie! I may be scraplifting soon. :D

Happy St. Goeorge's Day to those in the UK.
Tammy said…
On my previous post that is supposed to read as George's...ugh.

I did Scraplift #24 this morning, but as of right now, inlinkz can't find my image on flickr, so...
I'll try uploading it later.
Hummie B said…
Tammy, I do not know why, but the linky is working for other places, so I think it is Flickr. I have choose the upload an image option. Just download the smallest version from Flickr and use it to upload.

Yep, I retweeted a flag for St. George's Day. Happy to celebrate with those in other countries their history.

I'm having the same trouble with flickr, Tammy! grrrrrr..... Will follow your instructions, Hummie.

I created a diamond metal DP!! Thanks for the tutorial! I'm just loving your directions. I'm learning so much!
Hummie B said…
TGIF, all!

Karen! So cool that you did that tutorial I shared. I will have to find your image of what you did.

Talking to my mom and brother on the phone and waiting around and talking to guy about window estimates ate up my free evening last night. I just never know what will be taking my time. I spent a lot of time researching different types of windows and thinking and imagining in my head. This stuff all takes so much time.

Funeral and travel tomorrow. Not happy about putting aside myself and my to-do's, but happy to have opportunity to re-connect with that side of the family.

You may remember that I had two new classes in mind some time ago and even started creating one of them.

I found my notes, but I'm having trouble finding the first layout I did for it. Wasting time searching for it, but I'll find it!

Hummie B said…
Oh yeah! Of course right after I type that I've been searching, I find it! Somehow it got onto my Dropbox folder. No wonder! I must have been working on the class from my patio at the time and needed the stuff on both computers.

Yeah! So that's what my focus is right now to get this new class going. I was going to do the whole thing before I put it up, like I did the blending mode class, but I think I'll just put up the first few and do the others a little at a time.
Hummie B said…
Oh wait! I was making a digital scrapbooking kit for it! Ah! Well, it just got more complicated. I see I was making the kit from things I found I needed for my own layout. At least I've got a sense of my organization so I can start working on this again.

Happy Friday Hummie and this is the end of the week. It is amazing all of the things you get accomplished. I get lost reading about it. You are a busy lady. I made a layout with your Children on the Go embellishment and I played with it and added to it. Thank you and I used the KHD Free papers with it too. Just wanted to say thanks. Have a Blessed weekend everyone.
