Sun is trying to shine today. More clouds than sun, but it's still nice. :)

There was rain here this morning which was nice to listen to from bed. Now it is nice outside, but getting warm. By evening there is chance of rain again, so I am enjoying the outdoors while I can.

Just made a video to share of my outdoor space as I've had several requests.

Have a blessed Mother's Day!

Hello everyone!
I'm home from Florida, and it's been non stop ever since I got home!! I do have lots of photos to scrap, and I got a free kit from ginger scraps for my birthday, so I am hoping to carve out some time for ME and scrap some memories!

I did come home with a tan, but I also got sunburnt on my shoulder, and now it's starting to peel. Eeeeew!!

Hummie, loved the video! So nice to see your outdoor space again! :)

I cannot upload my layouts on FlickR anymore. Always get an error message. Does someone have trouble, too ?

Amarie, I tested an upload (then deleted it) and it worked just fine.

Dawn, time to make time, huh? Glad you are back and had a great time.

Mary Ann, saw your comment on the other post, glad to see you are sticking around here with us.

On FlickR France, nobody can upload, the help forum is full of messages which are saying : 'cannot upload, help ! '
So we have to wait for a new update... hugh!
Hummie B said…
Oh no! I hope that the update comes quickly.

I thought it was me and our internet that was the problem. I'll try again to see if it's fixed

Nope still having trouble :(

Happy Tuesday all! It's going to be one of those perfect weather days that I wish I were home relaxing on the patio.

How is your week shaping up?

Speaking of shaping, I'm still trying to get in my Fitbit steps. Over 10,000 yesterday. Whooo me!

Thank you so much to each of you who have prayed for our new babies - three new grandchildren born in the past 6-1/2 weeks - March 28, April 24, and May 12!!

The baby boy who arrived today (no name yet) was a full month early; but he was 5 lb 9 oz, and 18-1/2" long, and breathing on his own - a huge praise! And a further praise is that his mamma did not need to have a hysterectomy, as had been anticipated - there were problems with the placenta, but those were resolved without further surgery.

Because this particular mamma was in and out of hospital since the middle of March; and because the first of the grandchildren born was over 3 weeks 'late'; and because of complications for the mother of the second grandchild; and because of a great deal of babysitting during this time - the past two months have been unusually 'uncertain' as to schedule. I am a person who likes to plan my time; and yet there have been huge blessings through all of this.

I praise God for the prayers of His people; and I praise God for the most wonderful husband in the world, who has been an incredible 'Opa' through all of this time - I am SO blessed!!

Praise God, Anita! Such blessed news. Thanks for sharing and I'm so happy for answered prayers. I cannot imagine how tickled you are with three! They will surely grow up together and be close and have lots of memories. It reminds me of my great-grandparents who became first time grandparents three times in less than a week.

I need to make a scrapbooking or genealogy page about that.

I think I needed that reminder today, that I should be doing that sort of stuff and fitting that sort of memory keeping into my time.

Hummie I read on someone's blog the quote: "I want my grandchildren to know who their grandparents are." That sounds simple, if we know our grandparents; but if we don't preserve what we know of them, our grandchildren won't know who their great-great-grandparents were! That totally challenges me...
Hummie B said…
Anita, for sure! That is a challenge! I need to take it on and spread my time out.

Well, I did create for the DigiHop tonight, but I'll wait until tomorrow to put it up. Official start is Friday, so if I put it up tomorrow, it will be in Friday's email. I'll make it the next UseIt too.
