LAYOUT OF THE WEEK ~ MAY 8, 2015

Presenting Hummie's World Layout of the Week

by Crystal Blake

It takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there for the world to see.  I'm pretty much an open book so I truly appreciate people who are willing to go the extra mile and scrap about something unpleasant, sad, or downright painful.  Crystal's done that here.  Grief is a part of life, but most of us like to push it aside and pretend that it doesn't exist or didn't happen.  Crystal has laid it all out and what makes this layout even more poignant is that she talks about losing both young and old.  The layout must be simple to portray the the subject.  The monochrome blue suggests sadness itself.  I love the depth of the diagonal pattern.  I love everything about this layout. Well done, Crystal.  Thanks for sharing such a personal loss.

Congrats Crystal Blake!  Click on the photo and leave her some love (and hugs) if you have some time.

Don't forget to visit Hummie's World and create some layouts of your own!  There are loads of classes and challenges.  Then upload your creations at Hummie's World Flickr group and maybe you'll see your layout featured here on the blog!
