June 21. . a Sunday

I am realizing this morning why I was so tired yesterday.  I am exhausted because I am sunburned! Thankfully it is not everywhere, but mainly on my upper chest and shoulders and thighs.

I did a Bible journaling layout and I am still behind one now.  I recreated a layout I lost in the hard drive crash.  Thankfully, I had the web size version I had shared with someone, so I was able to recreate it.  There is a video I want to do yet and I needed that layout.

I realized the files I am missing are the recent ones that I put in a folder called "to EHD." and I moved that folder to where it syncs online to free storage.  I'm trying to be wiser.

I took a while trying to install iTunes and get it to sync with the old backup.  I finally did it and was glad.  I wonder what else I need to install on this laptop yet.

Today is Father's Day.  I miss my Dad.  A Facebook friend shared this and I had to save it and pass it along.  He was in a Starbucks drive through and received this note from the car in front of him.  Isn't that awesome!

Our son who lives in town had gotten off work at 4 a.m. and we did not hear from him for a while and were waiting on him to see what was going to happen for Father's Day.   I finally went over to his house and he was just getting out of the shower.  We didn't have much time because he had to be back at work at 4 p.m.  Hubby choose to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch, so our son bought us a meal.  I got a salad that was low calorie and supposed to have lots of vegetables, but honestly, it didn't feel like it.  It was mostly lettuce underneath and not that tasty.  Hubby got breakfast.  It was nice to spend a little time with our son catching up.

Hubby spent some time in the yard sunning.  He wanted to go to the pool but I couldn't go because I was sunburned.  There were so many projects to work on, but I couldn't bring myself to do them because it was Father's Day and he deserved a day of rest.

We had a bowl of frozen yogurt on the patio.  Today was really warm and humid.  I managed to cut down the rose bush and hubby can put it in his truck tomorrow.  We watched a movie that my husband pulled from our son's car and then hubby drove to return it to the rental place.  We watched some more of the Alias on Hulu "t.v."

I'm glad that J took you guys out for a meal. That was very nice of him. I'm sorry that your salad was less than desirable.

And sunburns.... OUCH!! Hopefully you have some aloe to put on it. :)
