Aug 27 . . . a Thursday
This is my bag of teaching materials all ready to go for tonight as I leave for work in the morning. It is going to be a long day. I finished prepping for class and gathered photos to upload. I download them to the student's computers so everyone is using the same photos.
I really love the yellow flowers outside my living room window. I cannot seem to get a good photo of them as I see them with my eyes. This was at lunch time.
When I teach, it is always a rush. Leaving work at 5 p.m. I have only one hour to rush home and feed the dogs, travel, sign and go through paperwork, start all the computers, and download the files. There is no time for eating!
Class was three hours long and it was enjoyable and went well. Absolutely love teaching! It brings me so much joy! However, there always seems to be that one student to mess it up. I never know what to expect. Awesome students tonight, but one must have been made to come by her mom, straight out of high school, and I had to bring out my "mom skills" when my professionalism left the building after two hours of her attitude. Minus one, it would be the best students ever. #timeforwine
The girls were glad to see me at 10 p.m. and it was a few hours before I wound down enough to go to sleep.
