#valentineprayer Feb 2

I want to invite you again to join us on this valentine prayer journey.  Even if you just write down the verse and share it with your husband or wife, doing this one-sided, that is okay.  Just comment below on the verse.  Or share a photo on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter.  Use the hashtag as I'll be clicking to see if I can find you.  Or leave it in a comment on my posts. However you want to send me a message, I'd love to re-share what you are doing.

Hubby went all crazy today!  I smile that he wrote something similar to mine yesterday showing he was inspired.  It shows a "u & me" at the top so the blue and yellow are our footsteps along the path to the cross.  :) I note he forgot to write where the verse was found.  I looked it up and it is Jeremiah 29:13. He's really enjoying sending up valentine prayers to God.
Here is mine for today.  I wanted to something "manly-man" so I choose a verse on strength.
Hubby went all crazy and went back and added to yesterday's with washi tape!
I forgot to share our opening pages to our journals.  He went back and added washi tape to this page too, as well as some more text.

Here is my opening page.  I'm not sure I like it and may play with it more.  It's too much of primary colors.

“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us.”

The above posted itself in the box when I opened it. It is a quote I looked up a couple of days ago. But I decided to leave it in because it seemed appropriate to what you and your husband are doing.

What I meant to comment is that I appreciate you sharing these deeply personal posts. I look forward to the rest. God bless you both.

What a great quote! It makes you think and I have to read it slowly. I am thankful for your comment and that you are enjoying reading these posts.

I prayed Psalm 90:17 - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands! - for my man's work. :)

Oh, yah, I forgot to say I put the paper in his boot.
