He called me Daughter! Digital Bible Journaling

This month the Facebook group has a theme of "Daughter of the King" and I did not realize it until later, because the poll was open and others had submitted the theme, that I was not totally on board with the theme.  There is a movement online which I've seen many times, but not really understood until I started researching, to promote this term.  I have read some great articles about how this movement tries to elevate woman to something more than they are and it all sounds good, so people accept it.  Just because Jesus is the King of Kings, it does not make me a princess, as a child of God, any more than it makes men a prince.  No where in the Bible does God call me a princess.  I know I have been guilty in the past of adding to the Word of God and when something convicts me as such, I want to deliberately be careful to not fall into the trap.

Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar. Proverbs 30:5-6

Everything on this layout is a free kit made by BoBoBernie and available for free in the Digital & Hybrid Bible Journaling group.  I really enjoyed working with the kit and all the amazing little tidbits.  I love the girl from the kit because she is so humble as the child of God.

In addition, but how amazing that His Kingdom Come website has a Take Me Deeper devotion for right now with the "I am" statement of "I am a child of God!"  It just a God wink! I did this for two Facebook group challenges that collided with the same theme this week! How cool is that!

With their devotion, they shared this song and I have been listening to it while I pondered the verse in my layout.
