Easter Egg - UseIt! Challenge #62 Freebie

I found this old freebie and decided to add it to the UseIt Class as #62.  I know I've seen some people use this, but I have not saved any of the images.  I'd love to add yours as a sample to the class guide page.

3/22/08 I am still trying to get layouts done from 2006 and just finished Easter! I only have 6 more events to finish and I SO want to get the done.

I wanted to give my readers something nice to celebrate the risen Lord, so I took the opportunity to create some elements while creating my layout that I could share with you. It took me over two hours to make that silly egg! I created it from scratch with gradients and noise and filters, and such, and had a nice looking egg going on, but I couldn't get the realistic texture. So I scanned an egg (yes, only crazy people like me will be spending their Saturday morning trying to scan an egg). I played with that for a while to no avail. So, I got out the camera and, yes! Finally some texture to work with to blend into my egg I already had created from scratch. I sure hope you like it. I spent way to much time on it. Booo-yah!

The word art was a last minute addition and I kind of like it. Don't you?

Thank you so much Hummie! You always have the best goodies. I've been off a lot lately and have missed a bunch of your great video's. But in a month... I'll be down for at least 2 weeks... I'll be left handed, so about all I will be able to do is read and watch... got the carpal tunnel surgery scheduled... I'm so scared about it....

Hummie that is the best egg I have seen yet. I can tell you put a lot of work into making this and am very happy that you have shared it with us.

I am hoping to get some nice photos of my grandchildren egg hunting after Church today. As we have a ton of snow, the egg hunt will have to be an indoor one this year.

Thank again, have a very blessed Easter.
