Bird Identification
March 20, 2017 ‪Anyone help me? What kind of bird? About size of morning dove. Orange beak. Spotted feathers. ‬ #bird #birdidentification (Bad cell photo but this guy doesn't stick around long and I was glad to finally capture something.)
We determined this to be a European Starling!

Please help me identify this #flower for my journal. It is about as small button. Seriously! I believe it is a bulb. It bloomed first on Sunday in my garden. It is soooo pretty pastel.

I even said when I first saw it that it was Anemone and then I doubted myself. I have to look it up every year and this year I am going to journal it in this book I am working on so I don't have to do it again next year! I think it is the Anemone Bland Blue Shades.

Prompt - Half
March 24, 2017 I came home from work yesterday to find half a flower on my kitchen table.  Hubby told me this story: The neighbor children were ringing the doorbell wanting the dogs to come out to play.  He looked out the window and saw the little neighbor boy pick a tulip.  Hubby went out and said "Oh no, don't pick the flowers, if you pick them, they will die." He said, "This flower makes me sleepy; it really does!" Hubby said, "you can't pick it because it will die." He said, "Plant it and it will grow."  Hubby said, "No, I don't think it will work that way." He said, "How do you know?!" Hubby said, "Because I'm old." He said, "Are you sure!?" Hubby told the children to wait for me to come home and I would tell them which flowers they could pick.
